Our work

Support neurodivergent youth in inclusive employment and corporate partnerships program
We provided funding to Learning Bridge Association to launch the "Neurodiversity Inclusive Employment Support Bridging Program." This project enables neurodivergent youth in Hong Kong by pairing them with suitable corporate employment, offering job coaches, and providing an inclusive hiring toolkit to enhance hiring practices for neurodiverse talent.
Enhance CareER online member portal development to foster connections and engagement of their members
We provided funding to CareER to enhance its online member portal and create a user-friendly platform that is easy to navigate for users with disabilities and special educational needs (SENs).
Equip SEN students with skills to pursue careers in the elderly care sector
We partnered with Fortress Hill Methodist Secondary School to launch a pilot project that trains their students for careers in elderly care. This provides an extra career path for students with special education needs (SEN) and also alleviates the shortage of workers in the elderly care sector.
Extended workshop services hours to the intellectually disabled
We endowed Fu Hong Society to start a three-year pilot project to provide extended care services in the evenings and on Saturdays for persons with disabilities. Training activities and meals are provided during these extended hours, as well as counseling and training for their caregivers to alleviate their pressures from caregiving.
Inspire new ideas for inclusive employment
We sponsored awards for the top 3 proposals of the “Social Innovation Incubation Programme for Inclusive Employment,” organized by the Centre for Civil Society and Governance at the University of Hong Kong (CCSG-HKU), a part of the Jockey Club Collaborative Project for Inclusive Employment.
Improve public awareness and understanding of epilepsy in Hong Kong
We supported the Epilepsy Foundation of Hong Kong (EFHK), organizing a series of activities for International Epilepsy Day 2022 and providing virtual talks to enhance public awareness and eliminate misconceptions about epilepsy.
Accommodation subsidy to staff of residential homes during Covid-19
Due to the shortage of isolation facilities during the fifth wave of Covid-19, we provided subsidies for frontline staff at Fu Hong Society’s residential homes to find temporary accommodations after a possible exposure to Covid-19. It enabled Fu Hong Society to continue providing hostel services for persons with special needs.
Anti-epidemic community support
At the end of 2020, we provided 6000 medical face masks to security guards, street cleaners, and ethnic minority families through HK Catholic Diocesan Pastoral Centre for Workers (Kowloon). We hope to support these high-risk groups and their families to overcome the challenges encountered during the pandemic. In early 2021, we collaborated with Hong Chi Association, Fu Hong Society, and St. James Settlement by providing Rapid Antigen Test kits to help address the immediate needs of 130 low-income families that have family members with special needs.
